The avr board attaches to the connector housing set endbell and is made of metal and plastic. It is a genuine Powermate part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in generators. This item is available as an individual replacement part. When replacing this item a screwdriver may be needed. Over time this part may break and will need to be replaced.

Fixing it was very easy. The damaged part was removed. The new part was inserted with a screwdriver. Everything else was put back in its place and the generator started working again.
