A simple replacement was made even easier by first removing the previously drained fuel tank (4 screws) and disconnecting the fuel line. I first pulled the original elbow/petcock from the grommet then used a screw driver to pry out the old grommet. After shaking out all debris from the fuel tank I sprayed a squirt of WD-40 on the new g rommet and shoved it back in the original hole then pushed the original elbow/petcock (after servicing it with a shot of oil) up into place. I added a new in line fuel filter for back up. The original fuel line was still in good condition but it would be a good time to add a new fuel line.
