This is an original Honda replacement part. The gasket is commonly found in Honda small engines and lawnmowers. This part is made of metal, and is used to seal the connection with the cylinder head. Please be aware that there are different gaskets used in the machine. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct part. You may require a screwdriver when replacing this part. This item is sold individually.

1: Removed engine from frame
2: Removed valve cover, head, oil pan, camshaft, piston, crankshaft, blade holder, and flywheel.
3: Disassembled and cleaned head.
4: Installed valve seals
5: Reassembled head
6: Honed cylinder
7: Installed rings on piston
8. Installed piston into cylinder, installed crankshaft and camshaft
9. Installed oil pan with new gasket.
10. Installed head with new gasket.
11. Installed blade holder and flywheel.
12. Mounted engine to frame.

I removed the engine from the deck. I disassembled the engine, I replaced the piston rings and the head gasket, resurfaced the cylinder head surfaces and reassembled the engine. No more smoke.

Removed the starter rope assembly,carburetor and muffler valve cover push rods cleaned all parts replaced head gasket assembled every thing in its place finished started it back to square one,needs rings.
