1. Remove air cleaner cover.
2. Close fuel cut off, and removed fuel line to carb inlet. (For access)
3. Removed fry engine cover that houses start switch and choke assy. (Be careful not to dislodge wiring)
4. Remove old choke, paying attention to orientation and connecting hole on butterfly.
5. Install new choke wire to butterfly first, then carefully mount choke base to the front cover. (You will need to completely remove the retaining nut so you can slide the base into the front cover).
6. Tighten choke rear but with pliers while holding front with needle nose pliers.
7. Carefully reinstall frt cover to not pinch wiring harness. Make sure the fuel cut off wire is secure, and the ground wire is secured to the top left bolt.
8. Reconnect fuel line & air cleaner cover.
