BACK ORDER BLACKOUT
I have used E-Replacement many times with good luck. But when a part is listed as "back ordered" you lose all ability to know what is going on. You can call ERP but they will just tell you it is back ordered and they have no idea when they will get it. Once I ordered parts in November and they held the parts until I called in February to find out that one part of 20 was on BO. With my say-so they said they would release the rest of the parts but in my case the missing one was the one I needed most. I let i ride and a few weeks later got the order.
More recently we waited and waited and finally cancelled an order after back order blackout. I would like to see ERP come up with SOME information regarding Back ordered parts when their order is placed to the manufacturer so we could have some idea if the wait will be acceptable.
