1. Shut off power to unit
2. Drained oil & removed oil filter and installed new one after putting oil in filter
3. Filled oil to proper level
4. Changed spark plug after setting spark plug gap to proper specs
5. Replace air filter element
6. Turned power back on and started, then shut off
7. Checked for any leaks after repair and rechecked the oil level
