This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is made for Briggs and Stratton generators. It acts as an adapter to connect the hose. Over time the part may wear out, become brittle and begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. Make sure to check the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the exact location and the correct application. Note, one durable plastic quick connect is included. You may need pliers to perform this repair.
