This double sided slider/shredder disc is an authentic Hamilton Beach replacement part. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with food processors. One side of this disc is used to slice foods and the other side is designed to shred the food. This item is made out of stainless steel with a white plastic center insert. Please note, the shaft that this disc is secured on is sold separately. To tools needed to install it, simply place over the square drive shaft.

I unpacked the replacement bowl and lid, washed them in warm, soapy water then dried them and used them as I did the old set.

The part was bought from ereplacementsparts.com and when it was received it was washed and placed onto the middle piece that holds the disc in place for the food processor. Installation was straight forward.
