Part was fine, but...
The slicer disc assembly was fine, but it took almost 3 months to get it and that only because I took matters into my own hands. In addition to the slicer, I had ordered the bowl assembly. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything, I called and was told that the bowl was on backorder with Breville. A month later, I called again and was told the same thing. And the same thing again 3 weeks after that. At that point I decided to contact Breville. Even though the Breville website said the part was out of stock, they were able to figure out that their website was incorrect and they did in fact have it. So I ordered it from Breville and cancelled the bowl part of my order with eReplacementParts. Then my slicer was shipped. While Breville is to blame too because of their messed up inventory system, it would have been nice if eReplacementParts had contacted Breville to find out what was going on with a part that was delayed by over 2 months.
