2 Disconnected the inlet side of gas line.
3 Disconnected the output side to the gas logs
4 Disconnected the thermocouple
5 Connected thermocouple to new valve
6 Reconnected gas lines to the control valve
7 Turned on gas
8 Heck for gas leak
9 Lit the pilot
gas valve went bad
