The thermopile goes next to the electrode ignitor and is made of metal. It is an OEM from Majestic, Monessen, and Vermont for use in fireplaces, stoves, and heaters. This item is available as an individual replacement part. If this part becomes broken it will need to be replaced and may require a wrench and a set of pliers during the installation.
