This pump was for the Breville expresso machine,
I needed a new pump for the Breville expresso machine and Breville do not supply internal part for the machine. Went onto Google and found your company, from the order to delivery and installation was great. There was no problem with the unit and it installed with no problem. The only complaint which was not your companies fault was delivery was over a month for the pump. Thanks

Great Part!
Was at my wits end trying to fix my Breville. Ordered 4 different water pumps
from other sites and none worked. This one came fast & had extra fasteners & it worked like a dream! Drinking espresso every day again. Thank you!

Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
1. Was a little unsure diagnosing problem. Pump still ran, but had very little pressure and flow.
2. Accessed pump by removing appropriate screws to release top and back of espresso machine. Hardest part was removing small plastic caps (without tearing them up) that cover 3 of the screws.
3. Move some of the wires for better a

4. Disconnect wires (flat clips) from pump (remember placement/order). Pry out small sensor (I forgot what it does) that is covered with some type of sealant.
5. Remove small metal clips that secure water tubes in and out of pump.
6. Unscrew rubber mounts and remove old pump.
7. Transfer mounts onto new pump and screw back into place.
8. Reconnect wires, insert sensor back into place (I did not use any type of sealant/adhesive), reconnect tubes and replace metal clips.
9. Reconnect any wires disconnected before (step 3) and replace top and back of unit with screws and cover plugs.
Note: I actually had a small leak and had to re-open the unit and tighten the plastic \"stem\" that comes off the pump. All this can take <30 min if you have all the right tools handy and everything goes smoothly. I spent extra time checking youtube videos, trying to get plastic caps out without too much damage, and correcting the leak. But overall a pretty easy project and worth the ~$200 saving and extra time without the machine that sending it back to Breville would have taken.

Low to no pressure trying to pull a shot and making very loud noise on BES870XL
I used several resources to help me replace the pump, some of the o-rings, clean all the Teflon tubing I could remove and replace the Solenoid Valve Assembly on my espresso machine.
1. The first one was a YouTube video made by this site about to replacing one of the tubes on a Breville.
2. The next was a Repair Story posted o
... Read moren this site about replacing the pump named ôLow Pressure On Espresso Machineö. Very detailed!
3. The last one was the best video on YouTube I found about replacing the pump. Look up ôThe Espresso Guyö under pump replacement.....excellent and lot of information.
After I replaced all the parts and put it back together, it was working except the pressure gauge, so I descaled my machine twice with vinegar and water and most importantly let the mixture sit in the thermoblock for 20 minutes each time. The instructions are on WWW.seattlecoffeegear.com/service/tech-tips/descaling-home-espresso-machine. The article is called, How to descale a Home espresso machine. More detailed them the Breville booklet.
This helped clean out the tubing and whatever else was blocked and the pressure gauge started working.
I want to sincerely thank eReplacementparts.com for the parts and quickness of delivering them.
