This is an original Breville replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The water pump with thermostat is constructed of wires and plastic parts, and is compatible with a few espresso machines. The part is secured to the safety valve within the device, controlling the liquid temperature. This item is sold individually. A hex key is needed to make the repair.

... Read morey pump, was that the o-ring for the tube coming out of the top of the pump was leaking water and dripping down on the pump. I also replaced that o-ring.
Opened cover & back cover
Cut old zip ties
Removed hoses
Unscrewed pump from chassis
Unplugged wires
Cut I wire
Replaced pump, reconnected hoses and wires
Started & tested with covers off to check for leaks
Replaced covers
