This part is available as an individual replacement. The metering diaphragm goes between the diaphragm gasket and the diaphragm cover. During replacement, it may require a screwdriver to help install this item correctly. It is made of a thin material and will need to be replaced if it becomes broken. This is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with Tanaka and Hitachi blowers, chain saws, drills, trimmers, and saws.

After watching your YouTube video on \"How to Clean a Two-Cycle/Two-Stroke Engine Carburetor\". I was able to repair my carburetor with no problems. Then I just removed the return grommet and installed the return tube into it, then put some oil on the grommet and inserted it in the fuel tank, then attached it to the carburetor.
