Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. Use one heavy duty glove to hold the blade. Remove the blade bolt and blade support, then the blade. Remove the worn blade adapter. Clean the shaft off. Then attach the new adapter to the spindle making sure that the key in the adapter lines up with the key way in the shaft. Attach the new b

Wife was cutting stumps and rocks and broke the adapter into pieces and bent the blade. I still love her
Removed old bolt , slid new coupler onto end of crank, but on blade( labeled this side toward grass, nice). Put on other half of coupler. Started bolt, tightened bolt . Wolla, three both hand in air and hollered ôtimeö.
Remove the blade bolt
Remove the blade support
Remove the old blade
Install the new blade on the shaft
Bolt the blade support and blade on the mower
Place the clips on the rear flap
Attach the rear flap to the mower
Analyze what parts had to be repaired
Ordered the parts
Use a assortment of tools such as dog bone, wrenches and adjustable pliers
After the removal of the old parts new parts was installed
Hex head bolt medium shank, 7 in wheel, washer and nut (2) times in the front

b. Remove bolt holding blade and adapter. Make a note of the order of installation for the
parts. The attach bolt is a standard RH thread bolt.
c. Install the new parts in the same order as the removed parts. If available, use anti-seize
on the bolt threads for easier removal next time you need to sharpen the blade.
