1. Unhooked the starter pull grip & string from the mower handle.
2. Removed the three nuts holding the recoil stater assembly to the top of the motor.
3. Lifted off the old recoil assembly and installed the new assembly, tightened the three nuts.

1.Remove three nuts holding assembly
2.Remove old assembly
3.Replace with new assembly
4.Reinstall three nuts and tighten

Already had old part of, threaded new rope through loop on mower handle, installed new part and tightened 3 Nuts, then started. Less than 4 mins

I removed the old unit with a nutdriver and replaced it with the new unit. Attached the new rope handle on the handlebar, repair worked well and solved my issue.
