Broken fuel line at filter

Loosen 4 bolts,remove old tank. New clips and tank, tighten bolts, and connect fuel lines.

1. Removed all fuel.
2. Removed all parts to be replaced, as well as trim and parts that needed to be removed in order to install new parts, including the spark plug, air filter and air filter holder, carburetor, old fuel tank and fuel lines, and fuel tank bumpers.
3. Installed new spark plug after setting proper gap.
4. Installed new fuel tank and lines, and bumpers, having noted where the new lines would go when I took the old tank off.
5. Disassembled the carburetor (simply removed 4 screws around the primer bulb to do this) and replaced the tiny fuel filter screen inside, then reassembled it. (Note-the small needle was used to remove the old fuel filter screen.)
6. Replaced carburetor on its two mounting posts.
7. Replaced the air filter holder, with new filter installed inside of it in its place on top of the carburetor.
8. Checked all nuts and screws for snug fit.
9. Added new-fresh fuel.
10. The device fired-up and ran well on the second pull of the starter cord, after proper priming per manufacturer\'s instructions.

Gas tank leaking dried out cracked and loose

Remove the tank by removing the screws holding it and remove the fuel lines
Place the new bumpers on the new tank and install the new tank on the trimmer
Connect the fuel lines

Simply removed old parts and installed new ones. Only tool needed was torx driver for replacing fuel tank.

Gas tank was leaking fuel.

1. Drained fuel tank.
2. Removed screws from blower shroud.
3. Removed screws from crankcase cover.
4. Placed rag into crankcase opening to eliminate debris falling into the motor.
5. Removed old crankcase gasket and removed gasket reside with a sharpened putty knife.
6. Disconnected existing fuel lines and r emoved old fuel tank.
7. Attached new fuel lines and installed new rubber bumpers.
8. Seated new fuel tank.
9. Installed new crankcase gasket and removed rag from Step 4.
10. Reattached crankcase cover.
11. Reattached blower shroud.

Replaced primer bulb and cleaned carb with aerosol spray, replaced fuel tank (old one was cracked), Put in fresh gas/oil mix but still would not start. I bought a new spark plug and then it ran. Adjusted carb and it now works great. Including the carb kit I have $32 invested and it runs like a new machine again and starts easily.
