The part is installed in the base of the hood, and connected to the hood feed wiring. This part is sold individually. Pliers and a screwdriver are necessary in making the repair.

2. Cut wires to defective unit

4. Stripped wires of hood feed to light unit
5. Tested new unit before install by wire nutting to hood wires

Trip circuit breakerGÇÖs to kill power to range hood. Pop out old lights and cut old wires then pop in new lights and with wire butt connectors connect wires. Wrap connections with electrical tape. Turn circuit breaker on and test lights,
