Once I found the model number I found the replacement motor and fan blade on Replacement Parts.com. Installation was easy with just a screwdriver and nutdriver. Standing on a stepladder and working over my head were the hardest parts.

We removed the old motor and fan. Oiled the old one and it started to work but I wouldn\'t put something back in service without feeling better about a repair. Ordered new part and it came exactly as ordered. Also the fan.

Removed the \'\'pressed on\'\' new nylon/plastic squirrel cage from the motor shaft, cut it @ 1/2\'\'
deeper, filed it smooth, installed squirrel cage, cut off the 1/2\" shaft extension.

Looking at the age of the unit, I was happy to be able to find anything to retrofit.
I could even use the old squirrel cage - so now I have a new part --
Job done. Paid. Up the road, or in my case down the road! Tom
