This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part used on Bissell vacuums. Its purpose is to filter out dust and debris. This filter is made out of pleated paper and plastic. This item is sold individually. Please note the foam filter is sold separately. No tools needed to replace this filter, simply take out the old filter and replace it with a new one.

Broken upright lock and dirty filters

I had to use a screw driver to get the old lock out but the new one just snapped in. Removed the old filters and twisted the new filter in. Now it\'s like a new vacuum!

Just removed the canister and twisted off lower container. Took out old parts and put in replacement parts. Easy peasey.

Lost grill and Hepa filter. Pleated filter & foam were old & dusty

Take out dust case, with Phillips head #2 screwdriver remove one screw to release filter box.
Clean all of the parts that were not replaced. Re-assemble.
Fit filter and click in the replacement grille

Remove the complete dirt cup assembly from the vacuum. Disassemble the dirt cup assembly until you are able to remove the old and install the new foam filter and pleated filter. Then put it all back together.

Remove the dirt cup assembly
Remove the internal parts until you get to the pleated filter
Remove the old one and install the new one
Assemble the parts in the dirt cup,and your done
