This replacement pre-filter is specially produced for handheld dustbuster vacuums. It is sourced directly from original manufacturer and it is sold individually. Its purpose is to prevent dust and debris from entering the motor and damaging it. The filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months and whenever worn or damaged. No special tools needed to replace it. Please note, this is a pre-filter, the main filter is sold separately.
No tools. Just snapped on new parts by hand.
Previously replaced motor and battery assembly. Only tools needed were small cross slot screwdrivers and nut runners. Difficulty was moderate following exploded assembly drawing of product. Had one problem figuring out sequence of reassembly.

Just a replacement very easy. Took the old filters out and put the news in. Have three of them so bought extras to have on hand. thanks as the ordering online was just as easy.
