1. Sprayed penetrating oil on the roll pin that secured the handle.
2. Using a steel pin punch and hammer, gently tap out the roll pin and slide the old handle off.
3. Unscrew 2 Phillips head screws holding the old rack plate.
4. Screw on the new rack plate.
5. Slide the new handle on and using steel pin punch and hammer, gently reinsert roll pin.

plastic gears sheared off at 90 and 45 degrees and then on the crank

had to drill the spring steel pin out of the crank. that was a pain in the a.. but once that was out, the rest went fairly eazy. if you think you can just push that pin out.... it won\'t come out. after that pin is out ,you slide the height adjustment handle off .slide the blade over to 45, slide the crank off. two screws to remove the g ear plate.and then reassemble in reverse order. ilke i said earlier, once that pin is gone ,eazy pezy. good luck !
