Removal of the original handle and grip were the most time consuming part of the task. It appeared that some sort of adhesive had been applied around the grip attachment bolt and this extended the disassembly of the failed handle and grip.

The Table Height Adjustment never has worked Right.
The Adjustment Handwheel Bushing was cracked.
The Center Height Adjustment Screw was scared up from
a Pipe Wrench and the Horizontal Bevel Gear had a couple of
Damaged Teeth.
The Col ... Read more umns, Rollers and Blades were all in Very Good
Condition.
My working Theory is that it was not properly assembled
to begin with. The Thrust Bearing was not above the
Horizontal Gear as shown on the Parts Diagram <95> but
under the Retaining Nut and Washer on the Top of the
Height Adjustment Screw.
I did not want to Disassemble the Columns so I worked
off the floor with Two Machinist Jacks holding the Table.
It is a bit Tricky to Work the Assembly laying on your
back but quite doable.
Everything is working like New.
Thank You so much for making parts available for
a near 30 year old machine. It will go for quite a few
more years.
