Product Description

?

Genuine Walbro replacement part, this item is sold individually. By pressing the bulb, it will purge the carburetor of air. Fuel will be forced up from the fuel tank through the fuel line then into the carburetor. Then the excess fuel will be forced back into the fuel tank through the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. We have an article and video on How to Replace a Primer Bulb, in our Repair Center. That can be found on the front page of our site.

Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.

The carburetor needed an overhaul because the diaphragm and flap valves were hardened from old gasoline.

Carefully removed the air cleaner and carburetor from the engine. I marked or labeled where parts go so re-assembly is easy. I removed the old gaskets and diaphragm and replaced with the new parts. I replaced all fuel hoses and three hole plug that goes on to the fuel tank for the fuel lines to go through. I installed the carburetor, fuel lines, throttle cable and air cleaner. I mixed new fuel and the engine started right up and performs well.
