This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is specially designed for use with Craftsman lawn and garden equipment engines. The carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This part comes with the carburetor assembly, as well as the carburetor gasket. Let the engine cool and drain the gas tank before starting this repair. You may need screw drivers and pliers to aid you in this repair.

Perfect Fit
The carburetor fit like a glove. These people know their stuff. My craftsman wheeled weed trimmer which is just about 20 years old works like new again. Nobody else even knew what I was talking about. This is the second time I have bought something for one of my pieces of lawn equipment, I will come again if I need something. Thank you

The internet suggested it would be prudent to replace the whole carburetor and not just the spring attached to the float within the carburetor. With a new lawn mower cost of $329 I thought $82 for the carburetor was a steal. It was incredibly easy to replace and the mower started immediately and has continued to work. All it took was to r

Be sure you notice which hole on the old carburetor that the throttle cable was placed through so you can be sure to connect it to the same hole on the new part otherwise your mower may run either too low or too high rpm.
Pretty easy to do. Took the old carburetor off and put the new one on and reattached the linkage. It was a perfect fit. I also cleaned out the gas tank, replaced the fuel line, and installed a fuel filter. Lawnmower started on first pull and stayed running. All I need to do now is adjust the idle a little bit.
Replaced the Carburetor but it was probably not necessary. It didn\'t improve the performance of the mower so I suspected a problem with the gas tank or line. Removed the line but no gas spilled out, so I suspected the tank was clogged, turned the cap to open the tank and drain the gas and gas poured out the line, my problem was simply va

I removed the spark plug and keep it connected and pulled on the rope to see if I could see any spark. No spark and it was a new spark plug. Replaced magneto. Started on second pull. Took around 15 minutes to remove and replace all the screws.
Went ahead and replaced Carburetor and air filter.
Cleaned up motor and took a picture to assure proper set up of new parts. Removed rope start, removed bolts from muffler to make easy access, removed carburetor, swapped part, reassembled and started up with 3 pulls.

Mower would not start. When I could get it running, it would run for awhile then stop.
Remove the old carburetor springs starter rope gas tank. Cleaned gas tank, fresh gas, three pumps on the carb, one pull and it fired up. Done deal. I\'ve fixed a lot of things with Ereplacementparts. Thanks.

Carburetor leakilng gas and mower barely starting then stopping.
Removed cowling and disconnected gas line and spring from carburetor.
Removed 4 bolts holding carburetor in place then put new carburetor assembly in it\'s place.
Very easy even for a non-mechanic like me. Regular shop told me it was a 45 minute job but would take two weeks to get to it, I had the part shipped and in
