This item is a genuine Subaru/Rabin replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with small engines. The metal spring is used to link the governor lever and is used to keep the engine at a consistent RPM even when the load on the engine increases. Just attached springs after some thought because of no repair manual.Tried & pleased with outcome. It\'s a welder generator which is quite now with your replacement parts. Mahalo
Trailered away from volunteers.
After completely reviewing UTV and engine manuals, removed and discarded all the wrong parts, lights, wiring, regulator, battery.
Cleaned thoroughly, to see what was left.
Removed Subaru EX27 engine.
Removed carburetor, and cleaned a sticky glue, that was used instead of gaskets.
