Product Description

?

This is a genuine OEM supplied replacement part that is specially designed for Subaru / Robin engines that are commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The ignition coil also known as armature-magneto provides current for the ignition system by producing pulses of high voltage electricity for the spark plugs. While there are various reasons for ignition module failure, the primary symptoms usually manifest in the form of extreme difficulty starting your equipment, and eventually, a no-start condition. It is made of high-quality materials and is sold individually. Please note the rubber spark plug boot is sold separately.

Removed engine from framework to obtain access to shroud bolts. Removed ignition coil that had an open. Replaced with new expensive coil. Adjusting air gap using an index card as a gauge. Had some concern about connecting the boot from old coil, not sure a good connection would be obtained. All worked well. Reassembled shroud then re mounted to Cary frame.
