This is an authentic Subaru/Robin replacement part manufactured for use with small engines. The piston ring is used with the engine oil to provide a seal between the cylinder and the crankcase assembly. Damage to the piston ring can break the seal between the combustion chamber and crankcase which can cause a loss in compression. This piston ring set is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.
