It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement air-cleaner element which is specially designed for use with Subaru/Robin engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. Its function is to remove dust and other harmful contaminants from the air that goes into the engine. Over time it may get dirty and clogged restricting the airflow, check your filters periodically and replace them as needed to maintain peak performance. This high-quality element assembly is sold individually, it includes the main pleated paper filter as well as the foam pre-filter.
