This is a genuine OEM sourced part used on many small engines. The Kohler reed retainer is constructed of metal, and is designed to hold the breather reed. The reed retainer is sold individually. A wrench is necessary for the proper installation.
1, Remove engine from tractor
2. Disassemble engine
3. Clean engine
4. Use caliper and micrometer to check re-usable parts
5. Install new parts
6. Add oil and startup
