This replacement air cleaner element is an authentic Kohler item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. It is a high quality item that is sourced from original equipment manufacturer for use on small engines. It is designed to remove dust and other contaminants from going into the engine. Please note, this pleated paper filter is sold individually. The foam pre-filter is sold separately. No tools would be needed to replace this air cleaner element.
