This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Kohler engines that are commonly installed on a variety of lawn and garden equipment. The ignition module also known as armature-magneto provides current for the ignition system by producing pulses of high voltage for the spark plugs. Over time components may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement to maintain a properly functioning equipment. Keep in mind this high-quality ignition module is sold as an individual item. A wrench set will be needed to perform this repair.
