This is the valve that the push rod ride inside of which will push the exhaust valve open during the exhaust stroke. A bent push rod or a damaged lifter-valve can not only affect your engine\\\'s performance, they can seriously damage other parts if the problem is not taken care of immediately. This is a high-quality replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. To ensure the correct location and installation of this item, refer to the diagrams of your specific model. Note, one durable metal lifter-valve and a tube of lube are included. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench set to take apart the engine when performing this repair.
