Easy
Total Repair Time:
15 - 30 mins
Tools:
Pliers, Screw drivers, Socket set
Parts Used:

With a pair of pliers, I removed the fuel lines from the fuel pump and then with a 10mm socket, I removed one valve cover at a time! Once the valve covers were off, I used the same 10mm socket to remove the rocker arms, so that I could remove the push rods and lifters! Replaced with the new parts and re-assembled both sides in reverse o rder! Welder is running like a top again! No special tools required, just be sure you know torque specs for your particular job!

Removed engine, shrouds, heads, front cover and pistons. Bad valve was only definite problem. Suspect improperly spaced oil ring end gaps for oil use. No idea what damaged valve. Engine only had 325 hrs. 100 psi and 200 psi compression. Waiting for new belts to deliver so I can find out if repair was successful.
