This is an authentic OEM component from Kohler. The oil cooler o-ring is made for use with many small engines, and is sold individually. The plastic o-ring is fitted inside the oil cooler, providing a protective seal. An Allen wrench and pliers are often required for the proper installation.

O-ring behind oil cooler on engine started leaking
