This is a genuine Kohler and Toro part for use with Lawn Tractors. The choke linkage connects the choke thermostat lever to the carburetor choke plate lever to control airflow through the carburetor during engine start-up. The main reason for replacing the choke linkage is if the choke plate seems to be stuck either open or closed, causing the engine to not run properly. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the choke linkage is a ratchet and socket a combo wrench and a multi-screwdriver.
