This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Kohler small engines. The ignition module is used to create an electric charge when the flywheel's magnet passes the module. The electric charge is sent to the spark plug to ignite the air/fuel mix in the engine's combustion chamber. This ignition module is available as an individual replacement part.
