This an authentic OEM sourced replacement base which is specially designed for use with Kohler engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is the base that connects to the carburetor and is used to secure the air filter element, over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. It is a high-quality part which is made of durable plastic and is sold individually, please note the cover and the filter element are both sold separately.
