This is a genuine Kohler replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with small engines. The shield is used to deflect heat between the carburetor and the cylinder. This kit also includes the spacer gasket that is used between the carburetor and the air cleaner base. The kits are sold individually.
