This is an original Kohler replacement part manufactured for use with small engines. The float fits inside the carburetor bowl that fills with fuel to be fed into the chamber to mix with air. As fuel is drained from the bowl the float lowers which opens a valve to re-fill the bowl. This float is available individually, please note the valve is available separately.
