Need help finding your model number?The retractable starter assembly is a special mechanism which allows a user to pull-start the engine. It is an authentic replacement for a missing, faulty or a damaged assembly that was installed on a new equipment. This part is supplied by the original manufacturer for Kohler engines that are commonly installed on a variety of lawn and garden equipment. It includes a plastic shroud/housing, a starter pulley, a starter spring, and a pull rope with a grip. Note, the hardware to secure this assembly is sold separately. To ensure the proper repair procedure, refer to the parts diagrams for your model.
