The rubber components lost their elasticity over the years. I replaced the pump diaphragm gasket & flexible pump diaphragm, which has the inlet/outlet check valves (spring-suction actuated flap type) incorporated into a single piece of material. ... Read more out and bounce into the Twilight Zone. Of course thatGÇÖs never happened to me!) Also replaced the needle valve, main diaphragm & gasket. Put it back together with just a few screws. Now runs like new. Thanks eReplacementParts!
