It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part that is specially produced for use with Kawasaki engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. This item fits the opening in the crankcase helps to provide an air tight seal to prevent any leaks. Over time seals tend to get compressed and may begin to crack eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. It is made of durable rubber material and it is sold individually.

Oil leak around upper crankshaft seal

Parts Used:
92049-7014, 670D2016
Removed everything from top of engine to include flywheel and magnets. Removed old seal by drilling a small hole in it, inserting a metal screw and pulling the seal out with pliers. Installed new oil seal, reassembled top of engine and problem solved, No leak.
