This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement air filter element which is specially produced for use with Kawasaki engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. Its purpose is to filter out dust and other harmful contaminants from the air supplied to the carburetor. This high-quality foam filter is sold individually.
My lawnmower needed a complete tune-up including valve and carburetor adjustment. Pretty straightforward work with the exception of needing to remove a well plug to gain access to the idle air adjustment screw. Parts arrived a day early and were exactly as needed. A pleasant surprise considering the pandemic.
