This head gasket is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from Kawasaki. It is compatible with several models of stroke engines. This part fits between the cylinder head and the cylinders. It is designed to keep air and combustion gases inside the cylinders. It also keeps coolant in the cooling passages. It is made of metal and sold individually.

Hello Ronnie, Thank you for your inquiry. The head gasket goes onto the cylinder head and is one of the causes of this issue. The other causes could be a cracked cylinder head or crankcase block.
