This cap is used to cover and seal the oil fill spout and to measure the level of oil within the crankcase. 1-Took cover off the engine and replaced engine cooling fan
2-Repaired the melted top housing
3-Replaced dip stick housing and dipstick
4-Pulled air filter off and took 2 bolts lose off carburetor and replaced choke shaft--Everything fit perfect and worked out well
