This ignition coil is an authentic Honda replacement part and is compatible with Honda engines. A malfunctioning ignition coil is a common reason for why a gas-powered engine might not fire up right away and must be replaced when they go out. This part rests closely to an engine's flywheel, the flywheel then has magnets that pass the ignition coil as the flywheel spins. This then creates an electric charge inside the ignition coil which transfers the charge to the spark plug to start the engine. This product is sold separately and is made of rubber and plastic components. Please refer to you exact model for all other associative parts.
