This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Honda small engines. The ignition coil is used to created an electric charge that is sent to the spark plug that ignites the fuel inside the cylinder. The timing of the electric charge is set by the spacing of the magnets in the flywheel that create the electric charge as they pass the ignition coil. This ignition coil is sold as an individual replacement part.

Removed old coil installed the new be removing and re-installing 2 bolts and set air gap with feeler gauges to .012 inch. Re-installed starter rope cover and fuel tank.
