This is an authentic replacement recoil starter assembly which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Honda engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is the mechanism that allows a user to pull-start the engine, over time any of the components may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. It is a complete assembly which includes the durable plastic housing, the starter pulley, the starter spring, and the pull rope with the grip, please note the hardware to secure it is sold separately.
