This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part that is specially produced for Honda engines. It provides a strong seal for the carburetor insulator which is sold separately. Over time gaskets tend to deteriorate and get compressed eventually requiring replacement. Please note one durable composite material insulator gasket is included per order.
